This is a fully functional Horiba LA-910 particle size analyzer system in great working and cosmetic conditions with its operation and performance fully verified recently with NIST traceable standards of 200 nm and 1 um. This analyzer meets the manufacturer’s specifications.
This Horiba system includes a LA-910 analyzer, an original computer with operating software installed, and a printer. It also comes with some critical spare parts including Philips light source, Horiba H1006525001 board, 5-Phase Vexta stepping motor, tubing, O-rings, clips, and others. The analyzer also have four original manuals and one technical document, including LA-910 Instruction Manual, Program Operation Manual, Software Manual, and Maintenance Manual as well as Particle Size Technical Seminar.
The LA-910 analyzer has two light sources: 405 nm tungsten halogen lamp and 633 nm He-Ne gas laser, and silicon diode detectors for high-resolution measurement of particle size distribution for particles in sizes ranging from 20 nm to 1000 µm in 20 seconds with no need to adjust lenses.
The LA-910 uses an iterative deconvolution method to calculate particle-size distribution. The results of analysis are displayed as histograms with the measurement range divided into 80 segments that gives a highly resolved view of the size distribution and identified peaks in mixed samples with particles of different sizes.
