This is a Beckman J6-HC refrigerated high-capacity floor model centrifuge with a temperature range -20oC to +40oC and a maximum speed of 6,000 rpm. The centrifuge is in excellent cosmetic conditions with great functionality. It cools rapidly and with precise temperature control. The J6-HC centrifuge accepts a broad range of rotors including a 4 place by 1 liter or a 6 place by 1 liter and accepts all Beckman multidisk adapters to accommodate virtually any tube or bottle size from 3ml to 1 liter, blood bag cups, even microplate adapters.
This centrifuge comes with a rack-type JR-3.2 rotor holds a wide range of gamma counter tubes in tube racks. Racks are loaded into removable trays, which are then loaded into carriers at a resting angle. During centrifugation, the carriers swing out to a completely horizontal position to provide uniform pelleting of samples. The nearly vertical position of the racks during centrifugation permits processing of up to 320 mL in one run.
